Meet Chef Tanner McCord.

Tell us a bit about yourself and how your cooking journey started!

I am the middle child between two sisters, born and raised in Dallas, Texas. I grew up watching my mom and grandma cook, and seeing my dad man the grill. During the pandemic, I wanted to challenge myself professionally and began to teach myself how to cook and learn new skills in the kitchen.

What is your biggest pet peeve, food related or otherwise?

People who sit in the left lane on highways.

What is your favorite kitchen memory or bit?

Pierogi playboys iykyk.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve received (recently or ever)?

For three foot putts, pick a spot between you and the hole and roll the ball over that spot into the back of the cup.
