Meet Chef Jeremiah Rankin.

Chef Jeremiah is from Tulsa. He has a warm, inviting personality and loves music, which he studied at the University of Oklahoma. He has a strong interest in horticulture and enjoys spending time with his dog, Benny, and exploring the outdoors in his free time.

Tell us a bit about yourself and how your cooking journey started!

My interest in cooking was sparked early on by my mom and expanded out of necessity while attending college and not wanting to constantly eat junk food. I’m a big fan of Tex Mex cuisine and worked as a server at Red Rock Canyon Grill and Ted’s Cafe Escondito for years.

What is your biggest pet peeve, food related or otherwise?

People not cleaning up after themselves.

What is your favorite kitchen memory or bit?

‘Yes Chef’ (southern accent).

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve received (recently or ever)?

Perfect practice makes perfect.
